ADMISSION

Toddler to Pre-Kindergarten: We offer full 4 or 5 day a week programs for your child (up to 10 hours a day).  

Infant: We only offer full 5 days a week program for your child (8:30am-5:00pm).

 

Admission to New Song Academy is open to children between infants through admission to Pre-Kindergarten. Authorization for admission is made by Director and based on the following criteria:

  • 6 weeks – 5 years of age at time of admission

  • Readiness for the type of group experience the program offers

  • Social, Emotional and Physical readiness

  • Able to benefit from the program

  • Space available

ADMISSION: About Us

CLASS PLACEMENT

Class placement is based on the age of your child and their developmental stage of readiness. We use the gov't CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) child development checklist. Your adherence to this policy helps ensure a positive first school experience for your child and the other children in their class. You must agree to the following for your child to be accepted at New Song Academy.

We offer the following classes:

  • Infant (6 weeks to 12 months)

  • Waddler (12-18 months)

  • Toddler (18-30 months)

  • Young Preschool (2-3 years old)

  • Preschool (3-4 years old) : *fully potty trained

  • Pre-Kindergarten (4-5 years old) : *fully potty trained

Registration

Registration for enrollment is open to returning students the last week of March. Open registration begins the first week of April. These are the necessary forms to be completed with your registration packet before admission to our program:

  1. Registration Form

  2. Childhood Health History

  3. Immunization Form (Washington State Certificate of Immunization Status)

  4. Signed Tuition Agreement

  5. Signed Fee Schedule

  6. Teacher Input Form

  7. Parent Input Form

  8. Parent Handbook (final statement of reading returned)​
